The so-called 'best kids photographer in town' spent only 45 minutes with my daughter then handed me a CD of amateur looking images with no retouching and rushed us out the door. I called around to see what it would cost to have a few images retouched and the cheapest place we could find wanted $50 per image just for retouching - no portfolio enlargement included - and the work samples they showed us looked like a grade school project. More professional places were asking a minimum of $150 per hour for retouching - and again, no paper enlargements included - but that's not the worst of it as even though I have looked at all of the images over and over, I can’t find even one that looks professional.
